style sequined blouse

Add a bit of sparkle to your Raksha Bandhan celebration as fashion creator Juhi Joshi shows how to style sequined blouse in 5 different and easy ways.

Raksha Bandhan is around the corner and one thing that is more exciting than to have to spend the day with your brothers and their gifts is to have a reason to dress up again. While the whole day is about the brother showing their love for their sisters, we know that it is mostly about the sisters (wink). It is easy for the brothers, all they have to do is put on a kurta but every lady out there knows the efforts that go in for them to put on a complete look. Despite all these efforts many of us may still haven't decided on their Raksha Bandhan outfit. To help you plan your outfit, Juhi Joshi shares her tips that will help you sort your day.

Juhi Chawla is a fashion creator on Trell who is known for her easy hacks on how one can repurpose their clothes to make new trendy outfits. She creates content about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. Juhi knows that no matter how many clothes we have, we girls end up running short of clothes every time. We still have that one material of clothing that we were super excited to buy but have never worn again. Juhi is trying to help us repurpose those clothes by styling them in easy and different ways. She shows 5 different ways to style a sequined blouse that will help you rock the family gathering.

Try these 5 looks:

Sequined blouse with a saree and a corset belt: In this look, the sequin blouse and jeans are black, and to add contrast, I styled it up with a bright colored saree. I also added a corset belt to give more definition to my waistline

Combining mom's saree with Dad's belt: By just making a little change in the way you drape a saree could entirely shift the feel of it. In this look, the above part of the saree is draped as a Cardigan and my dad's belt is added to give an Indo Western look.

Sequin blouse with saree draped as a skirt: Grab any of your mom's saree and drape it like a skirt. That would create a very sophisticated look and as an Indian, we all have access to lots of sarees, so let's use that to shine bright and grab all the eyes.

Sequin blouse with jeans and dupatta- For this look, I have paired the blouse with boyfriend jeans and attached a dupatta on the top of the same color as the blouse. I inserted one corner of the dupatta in my pocket and another one I set in free.

5) Paired blouse with Dad's suit and oxidized jewelry-

For this look, I have paired the blouse with my dad's formal suit and oxidized jewelry. Since the pants were loose, I tied a shoelace at the back of the pants and the coat covered that jugaad.
