The telecom operator, Reliance Jio in it's a first virtual annual general meeting made some key announcements regarding the connectivity and digital future of India. The investments guarantee to boost up the economy and people are to be benefitted with its outcomes.
RIL has also said to work with the Indian startups, therefore following PM Narendra Modi's idea of 'atmanirbhar bharat' and promote Made-In-India and Made-For India ideas.

In order to become the world's leading new energy and new materials company, Mukesh Ambani at RIL AGM said "We have a 15-year vision to build Reliance as one of the world’s leading new energy and new materials company. Google’s investment in Jio Platforms
Google will be investing ₹33,737 crores in Jio Platforms for a 7.7% stake. In order to make 2G obsolete in India and for better connectivity, Google and Jio have also partnered to build an Operating System that would power a 4G/5G smartphone. This partnership will also result in new and affordable Jio-Google smartphones based on 'customised' Android OS for Indian users.

Jio Glass
To give an immersive experience to the users, Jio Glass is the ultimate technology which consists of 'smart glasses' that would connect the internet to the smartphone and support around 25 apps and audio formats. Its uses include virtual meetings, sharing presentations or interacting 3D avatars.
Jio 5G
With an aim to provide 100% homegrown technologies and solutions, Mukesh Ambani accounted that Jio has created its own 5G network with all Indian Jio employees. The trials will be starting soon.

Jio TV+
Jio TV+ is the company’s new video streaming service that offers a variety of content from OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar and Voot. It provides inexperience of interaction by providing movies, shoes, live TV, content for children, music etc.
