A new mystery thriller is in town as Hansal Mehta's filmThe Buckingham Murderswas released in theatres last Friday. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan in a never-before-seen avatar, Detective Jaspreet Bhamra roams around on the streets of UK to investigate the mysterious missing case of an Indian immigrant child, Ishpreet, who is eventually found dead. As a young Muslim teenager emerges as the suspect, Jasspreet must get to the truth while dealing with her own dilemma!
With an intriguing plotline, the film has already created buzz and much anticipation and the Janta seems impressed by this film delivering on its promise. While they laud the unguessable mysterious plot, they cannot help but gush over Kareena Kapoor Khan's performance in the film, referring to it as her career's best.

#theBuckinghammurders Is passable affair visited theatre but the movie is nothing great nor bad no high moments just good to watch #KareenaKapoor shows maturity but it looked like low budget Hollywood flick than bollywood. #TheBuckinghamMurders may not be as hard hitting as @mehtahansal's recent Faraaz, but serves as an enduring procedural and addresses multiple social issues quite neatly powered by a bonafide performance from #KareenaKapoor as grieving mother/officer.
The Buckingham Murders - I had no clue what the movie was about, I chose not to watch the trailer and blindly believed in Hansal Saab and entered the theater. It took a while to grab my attention, but once I was in, it was so immersive.
