Taaza Khabar season 2 starring Bhuvan Bam and Shriya Pilgaonkar was released on Disney+Hotstar over the weekend and here’s what the Janta had to say about the series!
Directed by Himank Gaur, Taaza Khabar revolves around Vasant ‘Vasya’ Gawde played by the talented Bhuvan Bam. The crux of the show is that he can see into the future, and he uses that to his benefit. But he lets things get out of hand, and his actions become irreversible in a way where he loses a lot of people who are important to him. One of them is Madhu, his love interest in the show, played by Shriya Pilgaonkar and his friends, Mehboob Bhai (Deven Bhojani) and Raja ‘Peter’ Chaturvedi (Prathamesh Prabhu). All of them work according to his wishes, and hence, things fall apart when life goes haywire for him. Javed Jaaferi is also seen this season as an antagonist who will not leave Vasya alone even after he is gone for good. Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, and season 2 begins right where it left off.
The Janta seems rather impressed with Bhuvan Bam’s performance in the show. Javed Jaaferi as the villain is also garnering a lot of praise for his convincing portrayal of the characters. While some feel like season 2 might not be as good as season 1, nevertheless it is a sequel that holds up and keeps people engaged with its gripping storyline until the very end. Its unexpected plot twists is what made it a good weekend binge for the Janta!
