Debutant director Aditya Nimbalkar's Sector 36 on Netflix, starring Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles, has stunned the Janta with its darkness and the performance by the cast!
Can a fictional account of real-life crime awaken people and leave more of an impact than reality ever did? Well, it looks like that's precisely what is happening with Netflix's Sector 36! Most people on Twitter proclaimed that they didn't even know this was a real case until the film was released and felt disappointed after learning that the culprits had been acquitted. Apart from this, they cannot help but praise the gritty and intense exploration of the dark film made by the first-time director Aditya Nimbalkar, with some stellar performances delivered by Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal.

What the actual f**k is this movie? Really dark and disturbing. Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal are just phenomenal. That confrontation scene will shock you. It's based on a real event.

Watched #Sector36 yesterday & @VikrantMassey made it feel like as if he’s that dangerous person for real! The fact that the story really exists in our society is scary! #Sector36: I wish I had not found this film on Netflix. Jumped in knowing nothing about it at all, and watched one of the darkest things out there on OTT.

Wtf? I just watched Sector 36. Immediately went on to google about Nithari case and it came as a shock to me to see both the perpetrators have been acquitted in 2023. Seriously disappointed by our Judiciary.

I still remember I was in class 5th or so when I got to hear about the Nithari Case on News. @NetflixIndia 's new movie Sector 36 shows exactly what I felt back then. The horror, the grit, the intensity of crime, everything same. What an amazing actor Vikrant & Deepak are, wow! pic.twitter.com/OVzlFFm0TY

Series like Bhakshak and Sector 36 proves us only one thing. How horrible crimes against marginalized communities are institutionalized in North India.

The entire scene where Vikrant Massey narrates everything in detail just shows his acting calibre. Watch it just for those 15 minutes alone.#Sector36OnNetflix

Watching the movie Sector 36 was disturbing on its own, but knowing that it’s based on true events made it even worse. Reading about the real-life incidents was even more horrifying. It’s shocking how vile and disgusting humans can be when they aren’t in the right frame of mind😵💫

Just finished watching Sector 36 on Netflix, a film loosely based on the Nithari killings. It left me with a chilling sense of dread. The horror depicted was truly unsettling & I can’t seem to shake the deep disgust I feel towards the Indian judiciary for acquitting the accused.

Yes, #Sector36 is definitely not for the faint hearted. It's extremely disturbing. These things happened in Noida in 2005-2006. I remember how shocked everyone was when the newspapers were splashed with these inhuman acts.
