In the long awaited sequel Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, Rani and Rishu's tumultuous love story continues to unfold. This film stars Tapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey reprising their lead roles, joined by Sunny Kaushal as the newest entrant in the complicated love triangle. Following the critically acclaimed yet Janta-favorite first chapter, Haseen Dillruba, this next chapter promises to intensify the drama, crime, and mystery that ensues as Rani and Rishu attempt to escape the law and each other's past, leading to a thrilling exploration of love, loyalty, and redemption.
Despite the hype, the sequel of Haseen Dillruba failed to meet the lofty expectations of the Janta, leaving them underwhelmed. While some of the audience appreciated the return of the iconic duo from the first chapter, many expressed disappointment with the plot's progression, script, and overall execution. The general feeling is that the film had the potential to be a timeless romance thriller but unfortunately fell short, leaving the Janta divided in their opinion.
