Kalki 2898 AD is an epic dystopian action film, written and directed by Nag Aswin, and produced under Vyjayanthi movies. A film set in a post-apocalyptic world, Kalki spans from Mahabharata to the year 2898 AD. The film features Prabhas in the lead with an ensemble cast which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani. When Nag Ashwin’s magnum opus was announced last year, the sheer scale of the movie had left the audience eagerly anticipating the film.
Released this Thursday, the film saw Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan deliver standout performances, impressing the Janta. They were also in awe of Deepika Padukone and Prabhas on the big screen. The movie's mesmerizing visuals were a major highlight, holding viewers spellbound until the very end. Although some didn't connect with the dystopian theme, the majority of the Janta loved the big spectacle on-screen, with its impactful climax.
