Jigra janta review

The Janta is in love with Alia, the sibling story and duo of Bhatt and Vedang Raina in Vasan Bala's Jigra, which left everyone emotional as they left the theatres. Here's proof!

Vasan Bala's latest release, Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt in the lead along with Vedang Raina essaying the role of her younger brother, is an offbeat masala action entertainer that successfully recreates the magic of the 70s 'Angry Young Man' while keeping in mind that this is a film made for the 'woke' generation. It is a story about Satya, an elder sister's struggle to save her younger brother, Ankur, from the wrongful accusation of owning drugs in a foreign Asian land, the punishment for which is death by electric shock.

The Janta seems to be in love with the range of acting that Alia Bhatt showcases as Satya in the film and the action sequences that she performs. Moreover, apart from a few people who didn't exactly enjoy the film, many seem to be left extremely emotional by the end and highly impressed with the sibling duo of Alia and Vedang, as well as Raina's acting skills. Vasan Bala's powress as a filmmaker is also established as he janta hails Jigra to be an 'absolute cinema'!
