Dunki delight: Janta showers praise on the blockbuster film

Rajkumari Hirani's latest film 'Dunki', about the hardships of illegal immigrants, has gained some criticism and a lot of love on social media from the Janta.

'Dunki' - Rajkumar Hirani's return, and Shah Rukh Khan's third film of 2023 is finally here! Revolving around illegal immigrants, the film explores the dunki route aka the illegal route taken by people to migrate. With such a sensitive subject matter, the film has an ensemble cast too - SRK, Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kocchar, and Anil Grover, along with an impressive cameo by Vicky Kaushal. Needless to say, the anticipation for Dunki was high. But has the film impressed the audience?

Looks like the film has given the Janta their Christmas present before time. Social media is full of compliments for Dunki and SRK. Videos of celebrations in theaters, as always, are all over social media. There are some negative reviews too as some did not enjoy the movie.

#Dunki is a decent above-average Comedy Drama, But, unfortunately the weakest Raju Hirani film. It has a good premise with good acting but terribly let down by poor screenplay. The script doesn’t commit to any storyline and is too simple for such a serious topic.

1st half was excellent which was mixed of comedy and emotions Especially Vicky was outstanding 👌

#Dunki is not #RajkumarHirani's best, but in the era of violent and mindless action movies, it's a welcome change - even if some portions of the movie fell flat. #ShahRukhKhan, #TaapseePannu, #VickyKaushal, #AnilGrover and #VikramKocchar are amazingly convincing.
