The Jagame Thandhiram trailer promises a fun action-thriller via gangster, Dhanush

Netflix's Jagame Thandhiram starring Dhanush, James Cosmo, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan, Sharath Ravi, will release on 18 June.

Jagame Thandhiram, starring Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, and the Scottish actor James Cosmo, looks like it will be the biggest Tamil ensemble film this summer. The film has renowned faces like Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Kalaiyarasan, among others. But the most interesting addition to this crazy amazing cast is James Cosmo. We have seen him earlier in international projects like Games Of Thrones, Braveheart, Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, Troy and Outlaw King, and many others. The actor, Dhanush is already basking in the glory of Karnan on Amazon Prime Video and is now all set with this release.

The movie will show Dhanush taking up the role of a witty gangster. The characters of James Cosmo and Dhanush are introduced as 'like brothers'. The trailer also showcases an interesting and intriguing storyline full of action that the film will follow. A gangster, Suruli (Dhanush) from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, is hired by London-based mob boss Peter (James Cosmo). Peter's agenda is to infiltrate the ranks of rival gangster leader, Sivadoss (Joju George). In other terms, the film looks like the journey of a local gangster from India to London and tapping on the issue of immigrants. We are also shown snippets of the characters of Joju George and Kalaiyarasan in action. The trailer ends with Dhanush’s Suruli feeling satisfied with being a solid gangster in London too.

The film was earlier slated to be released in cinemas in the summer of 2020 but because of the pandemic, the makers shifted it to Netflix. The teaser of the film was already dropped in February. Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Jagame Thandhiram will premiere on Netflix on June 18. Be ready for this crazy, fun, action-thriller ride with probably a touch of cinematic twist and a message.
