In one of his most popular videos, which has racked up more than 9 million views, Logan starts by saying, “Sometimes, you need to eat an entire cucumber, let me show you the best way to do it.” He then thinly slices the cucumber and lightly marinated it with a mix of soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, MSG, sesame oil, garlic, green onion, and sesame seeds, shaking it all up in a quart-sized container to make a quick, flavorful cucumber salad. This simple yet tasty recipe has caught the attention of millions, and Logan, picking up on its popularity, has continued to share a variety of cucumber recipes. Most of his recipes lean on Asian flavors and involve light pickling or marinating. Now, it seems like cucumber salad videos are everywhere on the internet, and it’s clear that cucumbers have become a new culinary craze.
