The benefit of watching anything on an OTT platform is that you can comfortably switch to watching any film or series in your own language. From the range of options offered, you can select to watch things in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, or any other preferred language. Astonishingly, Amazon Prime Video announced yesterday that apart from the choice to watch in any language, the platform also offers something called the Jaggu Dada Mode where you can unleash your inner Bhidu and enjoy your favorite films and series in Jackie Shroff's unabashed voice and language.
In the video, we can see Jackie Shroff dubbing lines from many popular Prime Video series. He dubs lines from Pataal Lok, The Family Man, Four More Shots Please, Made In Heaven, and a song from Jubilee in his own unique style. But the best ones have to be when he dubs the dialogues from Fleabag and The Boys in his energetic, free-spirited Bhidu style.
Given that the video and announcement were made on April 1st, i.e., April Fools, the audience knows better than to take this seriously! But can you imagine if this was a thing? How we consume content would change forever, no? We're not alone in feeling this way! Manoj Bajpayee, Sobhita Dhuliapa, Wamiqa Gabbi, Aparshakti Khurana, Aditya Seal, Tiger Shroff, Krishna Shroff, and others chimed in with comments.
