Apple Tv plus teams up with British actor Idris Elba and his production company to produce new movies and series on the platform.

International British actor, Idris Elba who is known for his movies and music will be producing series and films on the popular OTT platform Apple TV plus. The actor signed a first-look deal with the streaming website. He is known for his movies such as Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, BBC series Luther as well as HBO series The Wire.

He will be producing global films and series under his production, Green Door Pictures production company. His production company was found in the year 2013. The company has produced many shows and movies since then.

The streaming website Apple TV+ has reached similar production deals with Oprah Winfrey, Alfonso Cuarón, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ridley Scott, and many others.
