The 90s era was owned by the one and only Karisma Kapoor and here are a few of her best performances that all of us are still very fond of!

The Kapoors are known as the first family of Bollywood and Karisma Kapoor has done justice to that name by raising the bar high with her outstanding filmography throughout the span of her career. Her screen presence, her charms, her expressions, and her dancing skills are something that came to her so naturally which helped her deliver several hits at the box office. She made her Bollywood debut at the age of seventeen and has always defied norms ever since then. She has been an inspiration to many including her sister, Kareena Kapoor, who used to follow her on sets since she was a child. Even as she turns 48 today, she looks stunning as ever. I have grown up being mesmerized by her mannerisms and there is so much to love about her. She's not one that can be ignored on or off-screen. If there was anyone who was paving the way for 90s fashion, it was without a doubt, Karisma Kapoor! The retro style that she pulled off so gracefully, is one that is returning in a major way today - mom jeans, tank tops, headbands, and belts, she had a vibe you simply couldn't help but recreate!

Some of her big commercial successes include Raja Hindustani for which she even won her first Filmfare award. Hum Saath Saath Hai, where she stood out even amongst an ensemble cast. Dil Toh Pagal Hai, a romantic comedy that people go crazy for even today, that movie earned her a National Award for Best Supporting Actress as well. In my opinion, there are very actors who can pull off the comedy genre on-screen and she definitely is one of them! Movies like Biwi No.1 and Coolie No.1 are perfect examples of that. Breaking stereotypes about herself, she even made her OTT debut with Mentalhood and owned that space as well. She became everyone's favorite and the audience loved her for her versatility and choice of characters.
