#HowDareYou trends on twitter after teen activist Greta Thunberg's speech about Climate Change at The UN Climate Action Summit.
The world is changing, and this time it's not for the better. The world which is home to 7 continents, with billions of people living on it is facing a major issue of Climate Change. Climate change arises when there is a change in the climate system resulting in new weather patterns for a certain period of time. The atmosphere which is crucial to our survival will collapse if not taken care of resulting in the worst.
The impact of this climate change which most grown-ups and industrial giants have turned a blind eye to is a growing matter of concern amongst the youth. Young children across the globe are taking to the streets to protest against the ignorance shown towards climate change and its devastatingly adverse effects on the future. A large number of kids took to the streets demanding that adults to take appropriate actions against this crisis to avoid the imminent doom.
It's United Nations Day and what you are about to read couldn't have come at a better time. A Swedish teen activist Greta Thunberg spoke to the world leaders about climate change at the UN Climate Action Summit.
Here's what she had to say about climate change:
“Right here, right now is where we draw the line. The world is waking up. And change is coming, whether you like it or not.”
