Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth tie the knot in a private ceremony at a temple
Aditi Rao Hydari married her longtime beau and actor-director Siddharth earlier this week. The two had an intimate wedding ceremony at a 400 year old temple in Wanaparthy. The couple shared pictures on their social media and they look rather stunning!
Oceans 14 is officially in the works at Warner Bros
17 years since its release, the Oceans gang is finally coming back to entertain us on the big screens. For Oceans 14, Brad Pitt and George Clooney will be reprising their roles and Edgar Berger is in talks to direct the film.
Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan to pair up for their next project ‘Love, Likes and Everything in Between’
‘The Archies’ fame Khushi Kapoor and Netflix’s ‘Maharaj’ fame Junaid Khan will be seen sharing screen space in a rom-com next year. The film is titled ‘Love, Likes and Everything in Between’ and is directed by Advait Chandan. Produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, the movie will hit the big screens on February 7, 2025.
Emily in Paris renewed for season 5
Netflix has officially announced the fifth season of Emily in Paris, and the excitement is tres chic! Following the highly successful debut of Season 4: Part 2 on September 12 - fans just can’t get enough of our favorite expat navigating love, life, and incredible fashion! Season 4, which dropped on August 12, 2024, is trending number 1 on Netflix's Global Top 10 with 19.9 million views in its first four days and reaching the Top 10 in 93 countries. The fan-favorite series has remained in the global Top 10 for four consecutive weeks.
Karan Johar to host the Indian adaptation of the American reality show ‘The Traitors’
Karan Johar announced earlier this week through his social media that he has begun filming for ‘The Traitors’. It is a global reality show that is now getting its own desi twist. The game will feature 20 contestants who will compete for the cash prize in a royal palace, they will go through physical and psychological tasks in order to win.
Ananya Panday’s ‘Call Me Bae’ is renewed for season 2
Ananya Panday’s latest project ‘Call Me Bae’ which is garnering a lot of love on social media is now renewed for a season 2. The show revolves around Bae aka Bella Chowdhary, an heiress who loses everything overnight and starts her life from scratch in the city of Mumbai. The show also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Lisa Mishra, Muskkan Jafferi and Varun Sood.
Bong Joon-Ho’s Mickey 17 trailer released
Oscar-winning director Bong Joon-Ho is back with his next project ‘Mickey 17’. The movie is a gripping sci-fi that stars Robert Pattinson in the lead. The film is adapted from Edward Ashton’s novel ‘Mickey 7’ and will be on the big screens on January 31, 2025.
Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan starrer ‘The Legend of the Maula Jatt’ is set to become the first Pakistani film to release in Indian theaters after a decade
Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan’s film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ which was initially released in 2022 is all set to come to Indian theaters. This makes it the first Pakistani film to be released here since a decade. The Legend of the Maula Jatt will be streaming in theaters in Punjab on Oct 2, 2024.
The Night Manager bags ‘Best Drama Series’ nomination at the International Emmy Awards
The International Emmy nominations were announced on September 19 and The Night Manager has bagged itself a nom in the ‘Best Drama Series’ category. The show starred Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Shobhita Dhulipala as the leads. The Night Manager is the Indian adaptation of the British show with the same name starring Tom Hidleston. The Indian version of The Night Manager released in March 2023.
Margot Robbie to produce ‘The Sims’ movie
The Sims movie is finally in the works with Margot Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerly set to produce the film. After successfully producing Barbie and Saltburn together last year, the duo is now making a film on the popular EA video game under their LuckyChap Entertainment banner. The video game giant has joint forces with Amazon MGM and will be directed by Kate Herron who has previously directed shows like Loki and Sex Education.
