Netflix party

Social distancing may have cancelled your movie nights with friends but with Netflix Party you can bring the fun back!

Netflix party, an extension for Chrome, got recently added to the Chrome Webstore and is getting really popular with Netflix users amidst the Social distancing period that we all are going through right now. Since we clearly cannot all sit with our friends in a living room and have a movie night together, Netflix party is the next best thing. That is why we have curated a list of movies that y'all can have a Netflix party over with your friends.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2019) AND To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020)

Okay, so I'm cheating and including these two together, but they make for a PERFECT double feature to have with your friends in a chat so y'all can talk about how Lara Jean should or should NOT have picked...who she picked...in the second film. YES, I WENT THERE. That's a super-fun argument to have with your closest loved ones, who are probably wrong!

The Dark Knight (2008)

Talk about how Heath Ledger remains the best Joker (Joaquin is also amazing, but come on) or how amazing the story is and how it takes you on an absolute roller coaster ride of emotions. An absolute master class in superhero films which you can enjoy with friends

Andaz Apna Apna (1994)

Of Course, the cult classic that we all love. Genuinely funny moments that will have you in tears and memorable characters make it an absolute must-watch with friends.

Dil Chahta Hai (2001)

Now is this the perfect film to watch with your friends or what? If you haven't had a good bonding session with your pals, this movie will give you a great chance to reconnect as friends, even though you can't see each other.

Dunkirk (2017)

Christopher Nolan's first historical war movie chronicles the evacuation of Allied soldiers from the French beaches of Dunkirk in World War II, using his love for non-linear storytelling by depicting three fronts — land, sea, and air — in time-shifted ways makes for an interesting topic for discussion among friends .

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

If you wanna have a virtual Netflix and chill date with Bae, then Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is the right bet for you. A story of an estranged couple (Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet) begin a new relationship unaware they dated previously, having erased each other from their memories, in what stands as writer Charlie Kaufman's defining work.

The Exorcist (1973)

In the mood for horror? The exorcist will leave you shivering where you sit. Despite being released almost 50 years ago it still strikes fear in the hearts of people whenever they come across it. Just don’t watch it alone.

Rang De Basanti (2006)

Aamir Khan leads the ensemble cast of this award-winning film that focuses on four young New Delhi men who turn into revolutionary heroes themselves while play-acting as five Indian freedom fighters from the 1920s, which makes for a great watch with friends.
