Marvel revealed that its Norse God, Loki is gender fluid in the teaser and we can't wait to watch the series on Disney Plus.
Everyone is aware of how dedicated Marvel fans are. They put in the work to do their complete research when it comes to their favorite Marvel characters. In the hope to find new easter eggs, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have found gold in the teaser of the film streaming on the Disney+Hotstar. In this teaser that was released by MCU ahead of its Wednesday premiere, Marvel mentioned Tom Hiddleston aka Loki as 'Gender-Fluid.' This has finally put all the speculations that fans have had about Loki's sexual orientation to rest.
There have been various fan theories when it came to the identity of the God of Mischief. He is someone who frequently shapes-shifts into other characters. This also includes his female character - Lady Loki. Although his gender was never officially confirmed in the MCU movies, the comics have this mentioned. In the comic book, Original Sin: Thor & Loki: The Tenth Realm that released in 2014, his non-binary gender identity was confirmed when Odin introduced Loki as both his son and daughter. He is also confirmed as gender fluid and pansexual in the graphic novel Loki: Where Mischief Lies. Besides being mentioned in the comics, even Norse mythology shows the God of Mischief being gender-fluid.
The representation of Loki as gender-fluid has made MCU fans fonder of the character and the universe.

Since it's Marvel, there's no way to know how his identity will play out in this series till we finally watch it or if this is going to be just another disappointing easter egg. No matter how it plays out, it feels great that Marvel has finally given the queer community some representation onscreen. We'd love to see more than just a glimpse of his gender in the series, though!
