The Janta is impressed by Sara Ali Khan's growth in Gaslight on Disney+ Hotstar

Sara Ali Khan starrer Gaslight was released on Disney+ Hotstar on March 31 and the Janta was hooked right away.

Gaslight is a horror turned into murder mystery written and directed by Pavan Kirpalani, co-written by Neha Sharma, and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri. The movie stars Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey, Chitrangada Singh, Akshay Oberoi, Rahul Dev, and Shishir Sharma.

Meesha (Sara Ali Khan), a wheel-bound girl returns to her royal estate after 15 years to her father just to find out he is missing. After spending one night at her estate she sees a glimpse of her father and at this point, she is convinced her dad is dead. She starts doubting Rukmini (Chitrangada Singh), her stepmother, and accuses her of hiding the truth and manipulating her along with her distant cousin Rana (Akshay Oberoi). After a series of events, she decides to take things into her own hands and that's when the genre shift takes place.

While the Janta was hooked to all the twists and turns in this film, they couldn't help but be obsessed with Sara's performance and praised her for the same. They were also impressed by the casting of the movie and were thrilled to see Vikrant, Sara and Chitrangada share the screen in this dark thriller.
