Every year, the first Sunday of August is celebrated as Friendship Day. We've all celebrated this day over the years and have various traditions and memories attached to it too. But with time, the dozens of friendship bands around our wrists and cringeworthy permanent markers leaving patches of colours on our skin were replaced with WhatsApp forwards, sharing memories over beers to sadly, even that one odd video call.
