Were Ross and Rachel on a B.R.E.A.K in F.R.I.E.N.D.S?

In the F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion trailer, while the whole cast agrees on Ross-Rachel being on a break, but Matt Le Blanc called it bullshit and we kind of agree.

Whether Ross and Rachel "were on a break" when he sleeps with the girl from the copy place is an age-old debate that we don't see ending anytime soon. From season one of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, we sense strong chemistry between Ross and Rachel. They did things for each other that only people in relationships do, which made us root for them always to end up together. And when they did we cheered the loudest but alas it wasn't for a long time as their breakup broke our hearts too. But irrespective of their relationship going through trials and tribulation of time, both of them always showed up for each other throughout the 10 seasons no matter what. Hence, we believe that Ross and Rachel were not on a B.R.E.A.K throughout the series.
