Amazon Prime Video's Four More Shots Please Season 2 that got released last weekend has been a part of conversations amongst the binge-watching generation ever since it's launch.
The show revolves around the lives of four flawed women battling through relationships.
Though the show's new season cleverly weaved important women-centric subjects like workplace sexism, body image, social media trolls, parenthood, freedom of expression and infidelity, we will have to wait and watch if it managed to hit the right chord with the audience.
Keeping aside the audience mandate at the moment, you have to agree that we all watched it for our guilty pleasure, the same reason we watch Koffee with Karan.

While I know, the opinion out there is divided, I believe some characters are worth mentioning and appreciating despite the fate of the show.
In FMSP, one such character is Siddhi Patel, played by the very talented Maanvi Gagaroo.
From being a shy adorable girl coming from a privileged Gujju family to having a troubled childhood, teen and adulthood, Siddhi Patel's life goes through a roller coaster ride
In her efforts to fit into the norms of the society, she tries to find her calling amidst the chaos of her love life and the never-ending family drama.
Siddhi Patel had already won hearts in the first season with her bold step to make a profile on a semi-porn site in the quest to find herself. The Bold Move eventually landed her in a controversy and her life fell apart, when the father of her lover turned fiancee blackmailed her for a special show. By not succumbing to the situation and standing up against the pressure, the character saw a rise and gained respect.

Season 2 commenced with Siddhi trying to gather the pieces of her broken heart, and rekindling the friendship with the girls.
The new season witnessed a stark transformation in Siddhi Patel's personality. With her solo backpacking in Istanbul, experimenting with stand-up comedy and most importantly, standing up for herself concerning the bond with her parents, deciding on her love life and her relationship with friends.
Siddhi might seem like a chirpy girl next door, but as the story progresses, the character evolves in mindset and is more open to giving life a chance and deciding the fate for herself.

Ms Harmonal Patel (her standup name), might go weak in her knees for but is on the constant lookout to build a career for herself.

From a solo standup to registering for the course in Comedy, Siddhi finally has some answers for herself.
I could totally relate to ditzy young Siddhi Patel in some capacity and liked her for breaking stereotypes related to body image, relationships and career choices
How about you?
