The trend of epic battles between two massive personalities has taken over the film industry. The franchises have taken up this project of showcasing epic battles. Earlier Godzilla Vs Kong showcased an epic battle that was inevitable and now Fast and Furious 9 promises something similar. Starring Vin Diesel with John Cena, who plays Dom's (Vin Diesel) brother Jakob Toretto this film is high on action but will showcase a show of strength between the two. The first trailer that was released in early 2020, revealed that John Cena is playing Vin Diesel’s arch-enemy and brother. However, this new trailer shows the depth of rivalry between the two and something more than cars. With many known faces and some new ones, the trailer offers what the franchise has always stood for-action packed car sequences. Not just that but something more too.

This would be the ninth installment of the franchise Fast and Furious. A film that has over the years made a place for itself. Justin Lin will be returning as the director of the film and has also penned the script with Daniel Casey. He previously directed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth installments of the franchise as well. The film was set to release in May 2020 but was postponed due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic. The new release date of the film is June 25 in India.
