Content creators teamed up with Garnier India for a beach clean-up at Juhu Beach on World Environment Day, amplifying the message against plastic pollution.

In an inspiring effort to promote sustainability, Garnier, in partnership with L'Oréal India, organized a beach clean-up drive at Mumbai's Juhu Beach on World Environment Day. This initiative, a component of Garnier's Green Beauty campaign, aimed to shed light on environmental concerns and motivate Millennials and Gen Z consumers to adopt eco-friendly habits. Additionally, Garnier collaborated with Plastics for Change, which aims to tackle social issues through the innovative use of plastic waste. Not only that, the initiative is also making an effort to improve the livelihoods of informal waste collectors, waste entrepreneurs, and their families.

The event witnessed a strong dedication to environmental stewardship. Led by Bollywood actress Pooja Hegde, a committed group of volunteers participated in the clean-up drive, joined by social media influencers like Ritvi Shah, Sarthak Jambekar, Ishika Bhargava, Devishi Madaan, Hamza Syed, Tanya Balchandani, Prableen Kaur Bhomrah, Leisha Patidar, Aatman Desai, and many others. Many college students also participated, drawing attention to the issue of plastic pollution. Supported by over 2,000 volunteers from eight cities, the event highlighted the significant environmental impact achievable through collective action.
