Eternals teaser

Check out the new Chloe Zhao directorial, Eternals teaser by Marvel Studios.

"We have watched and guided. We have helped them progress and seen them accomplish wonders. Throughout the years we have never interfered, until NOW." Fans were surprised by Marvel with a small sneak-peek of Eternals in its phase 4 trailer, earlier this month. The studio finally released the first Eternals teaser trailer and it looks mindboggling.

Eternals is based on the same comics created by Jack Kirby, which made its first appearance in July 1976. The Eternals are superheroes who are a team of ancient immortals who were intended to become the Defenders of Earth by the Celestials. This plot of the new movie takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and will focus on how the Eternals are forced to put themselves before the public eye after years of hiding. And how a tragic event and a generation-spanning conflict with the Deviants brings them back into action. The trailer looks extravagant, much to fans' expectation from a Marvel movie.

Marvel has tried to live up to all the hype it has been creating to build up this movie with a new cast. Kumail's grand Bollywood number, Angelina's sword tricks, Richard and Gemma's romance, karaoke, family dinner, and a bunch of superhero stuff make this one of the most anticipated movies this year. We also get to see the Defenders of Earth discussing the fate of Earth's mightiest heroes with Ikaris, who offers his assistance to lead the Avengers in the absence of Captain and Tony. Although Kit Harrington also stars in the movie, fans missed getting a glimpse of Dane Whitman, a.k.a. Black Knight's suit.

The Eternals cast includes Angelina Jolie as Thena, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Gemma Chan as Sersi, and Barry Keoghan as Druig.

The movie is directed by Oscar-award winner Chloe Zhao. She also worked on the screenplay of the movie and Eternals will be her first movie after her recent win. The movie opens in theatres on November 5th.
