Written and directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma for YRF Entertainment, this heartwarming slice-of-life film starring Anupam Kher will stream on Netflix from November 8, 2024! Brahmastra: Part 1 received many National Awards starting with Best Male Playback Singer for Arijit Singh, Best Film in the AVGC category (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic), and Best VFX Film.
Neena Gupta won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Uunchai. A R Rahman won his seventh National Film Award for Best Music Director (background score) for Ponniyin Selvan 1 while Pritam won the same award for songs in Brahmastra Part 1. KGF 2 won Best Kannada Film and Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 won Best Tamil Film. Karthikeya 2 won Best Telugu Film and Manoj Bajpayee won a National Award for Gulmohar in the special Mention category. Mithun Chakraborty was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award to mark his contribution to Hindi cinema.
