As we gear up for the last month of 2024 to approach us, the world of entertainment has opened its doors to what the new year could look like for us in terms of content. OTT platforms like Disney+ and HBO have shared their line up for the new year. Netflix and Prime Video are also announcing release dates and new cast members for their highly awaited titles like ‘Wednesday’ and ‘Bandish Bandits’ respectively. Rana Daggubati is set to host his first ever Telugu talk show and we cannot wait to see what the Telugu film industry is like behind the scenes! Tom Cruise gives us a glimpse into his last Mission Impossible film and it looks like a promising entertainer as always!

Prime Video announces the second season of Bandish Bandits
After a long wait of three years, Prime Video finally announced the second season of Bandish Bandits. A new poster of the show was released in which we can see the leads of the show Ritwik Bhowmik (Radhe) and Shreya Chowdhary (Tamanna) ready for a musical show off. The poster also features some of the ensemble cast which includes Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Sheeba Chaddha, Divya Dutta and Yashaswini Dayama. The second season of the show will be out on December 13.
HBO and Max drop their line up for 2025
HBO has given us a plethora of shows to love over the years and with their 2025 line up, that’s not going to change anytime soon. The platform recently released a video where it combined short teasers of all the anticipated shows that are about to release next year, first and foremost The White Lotus season 3 which is set in Thailand this time around. We see the first glimpse of Blackpink’s Lisa as one of the staff who works at the infamous hotel chain. ‘Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ which lies somewhere in between the House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones in terms of its timeline, also showed us what we can expect. ‘Hacks’ season 4 was announced and the second season of ‘The Last of Us’ will arrive in spring 2025 as well.
Netflix unveils the trailer of Yeh Kaal Kaali Ankhein season 2
Following the thrill of Season 1, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein returns to Netflix with a second season that’s spicier, darker, and juicier than ever. Disney+ drops its content line up for 2025
From the very first look at The Bear season 4 which will be out in summer next year to Andor season 2, Disney+ celebrated its five year anniversary by releasing a teaser of their upcoming content line up. The final season of Handmaid’s Tale and season 2 of Percy Jackson was announced as well. Have a look!
Netflix reveals the cast for Squid Game season 2 via first stills of the show
Squid Game season 2 will be out next month ready for us to binge watch but before that Netflix has revealed its cast and we’re rather excited to see how it all unfolds with the new additions. Lee Jung-Jae returns to lead the new season as Seong Gi-Hun aka Player 456, with Lee Byeong-Heon as Hwang In-ho, Wi Ha-Joon as Hwang Jun-ho, and Gong Yoo as the recruiter. New to the cast are Kang Ha-Neul, Yim Si-Wan, Park Sung-Hoon, Yang Dong-Geun, Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Won Ji-an, and Cheoul-su. According to speculations Jo Yu-ri and Yim Si-wan, whose character is a crypto bro, are exes competing in the game together.
Prime Video drops the trailer for ‘The Rana Daggubati Show’
Prime Video unveiled the highly anticipated spill-all trailer for its first-ever talk show, The Rana Daggubati Show. Created and hosted by the charismatic Rana Daggubati and executive produced by him under the banner of Spirit Media, the unscripted Telugu original series will feature a dazzling line-up of guests, including Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Nani, Rishab Shetty, Siddhu Jonalagaddha with Sree Leela, S.S. Rajamouli with Ram Gopal Varma, and many more over eight extremely entertaining episodes. The talk show premieres on December 13.

Prime Video announces the release date for Pratik Gandhi and Divyenndu starrer ‘Agni’
Prime Video, in collaboration with Excel Entertainment, will be releasing Agni on December 6. A Hindi film directed by National Award-winner Rahul Dholakia, it's helmed by Pratik Gandhi and Divyenndu. Set against the backdrop of a city plagued by mysterious fires, it follows Vitthal (Gandhi) and his brother-in-law Samit (Divyenndu), a police officer, as they team up to investigate the crisis. The story also delves into Vitthal’s emotional journey, exploring the sacrifices and unyielding spirit of those who risk everything to protect others.
