Ever since I first met Elliot Page as a confident, questioning, almost intimidatingly intelligent 10 year-old working together on a show called Pit Pony (and later on Trailer Park Boys) I’ve never doubted for a second that he would change the world in some way. Love + respect.

I also think it’s fair for trans people to be overwhelmed at the moment.
Every time a prominent person comes out as trans, the amount of transphobic shite that ends up all over social media can be scary, hope ur all doing good x
We love and support our trans heroes for their choices. We also love and welcome the trans community and we love Elliot Page and Nicole Maines! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/jEnPtJaGrX

considering the unfortunate response from transphobes about elliot page- and my identity as a nonbinary butch who’s very proud of who he is- all i’m gonna say is that if you view him coming out as trans as a “loss” for lesbians- unfollow or block me. my account was never for you.
