It's Earth Day today and netizens took the opportunity to talk about the planet and celebrate the spirit of the day.
The Earth has been providing support to various forms of life for over 4.5 billion years now. And that is a long time to go without any harm or damage, which the earth has experienced quite a lot and in a recurring fashion mostly due to the many disastrous habits and activities of humans. Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970 and is observed on April 22nd to support environmental protection. This year marked its 50th anniversary and once again, people came together to voice their concerns and suggestions towards protecting the Earth from further damage and helping it heal from what's already done.
Take a look at how netizens observed Earth Day 2020:

Happy Earth Day! The Earth’s ability to give, nurture and share is something I hope we never take for granted, and perhaps, try to emulate. Forever appreciative of, and grateful to Mother Earth for all that she does. ? #earthday pic.twitter.com/VEF0TwWpcU
