This week we finally got to know the release date for the second chapter of Netflix's Mismatched. Disney announced the live-action remake of Snow White and also a prequel to the iconic Lion King, focusing on Mufasa's journey. After a huge success at the box office, Shahrukh Khan's character from Brahmastra is about to get it's own spin off movie. Ayushmann Khurrana announces release date for Dream Girl 2
After the success of Dream Girl, the movie is coming out with it's second installment. Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing the main lead and will be paired opposite Ananya Panday. The actor shared a quirky announcement video on his Instagram where he talks about the release date as his character in the film. The movie will hit the big screens in June 2023. The cast also includes veteran actors like Paresh Rawal, Vijay Razz, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa and Annu Kapoor.
Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf announce the release date of Mismatched season 2
Mismatched season 2 is coming back with season two with new relationships, more non-dates and twice the drama. The series is directed by Akarsh Khurana and features Rohit Saraf, Prajakta Koli, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi and Taaruk Raina. The series will be ready to stream from October 14.
Disney announces ‘Mufasa' the prequel to Disney’s 2019 live action remake of the Lion King
Lion King, a movie that was so loved by the audience for generations, has announced its prequel Mufasa: The Lion King. The movie will focus on Mufasa’s journey to becoming the King of the jungle. It will hopefully give us more insight into Scar and Mufasa’s backstory as well. We will get to see younger versions of Timon, Pumba and Rafiki who will also be the characters narrating this story. The film will be directed by Barry Jenkins and will be released in 2024.
Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal announce audio season of Little Things
Mithila Palkar shared that the new season of 'Little Things' is an audio series. Talking about the show, titled 'Little Things: Jab Dhruv Met Kavya', Mithila said it's a sweet, special story about how Dhruv and Kavya met. Actor-writer Dhruv Sehgal said Little Things fans will find themselves listening to the series with a goofy smile on their face.

Netflix’s new animated series Entergalactic shows a young man navigating love in a big city. American rapper Kid Cudi plays Jabari, the main character of the series. It also features Timothee Chalamet, Vanessa Hudgens and Jessica Williams. Season 1 will be streaming on Netflix from September 30.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Andy Samberg and Melissa Fumero reunite for his animated series Digman
Digman! is a half-hour comedy set in a world where archeologists live up to the hype of being the coolest people on the face of the Earth with Andy Samberg himself playing the protagonist. The cast also includes Melissa Fumero, his love interest from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Tim Robinson and Tim Meadows.

Secret Invasion which is a six-episode mini-series from the MCU will focus on Nick Fury and his Skrull ally Talos. They seek to expose a cabal of other Skrulls who can shape-shift and have infiltrated high-ranking positions in governments on Earth. The series will be released in early 2023.

Ayan Mukerji said in a recent interview that he and his team had already thought of a spin-off story for Shahrukh Khan's character 'The Scientist' from Brahmastra even before the fans started demanding for it after watching the film. Although he is currently working on Brahmastra Part Two but if the spin-off were to take place, it will focus on The Scientist's origin story and how he became a part of the Brahmansh.

Los Angeles officially declares September 17 as Squid Game Day
Los Angeles has officially designated September 17 as Squid Game Day to commemorate the influence of the Korean drama series on American pop culture. The resolution passed by the city council states the series made history by becoming the first Korean and first foreign language series to be nominated at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
