In this week's E Round-Up we have news about all the new content coming your way! While The Witcher is renewed for a season 2, the root that holds the show together aka Henry Cavill is saying goodbye to the show. Speaking of renewals, The Sandman will also be returning with a season 3. If you enjoyed the horror-comedy Stree then brace yourself for another part soon. Henry Cavill leaves The Witcher franchise, to be replaced by Liam Hemsworth in season 4

While The Witcher Season 3 hasn’t debuted yet, it has already been renewed for a fourth season but there’s a change coming. In Season 4, Liam Hemsworth will step in as the titular monster-hunter Geralt of Rivia, the role Henry Cavill originated in the first three seasons.

The Sandman renewed for season 2 by Netflix

The 10-episode series, based on Gaiman’s DC Comics series of the same name, follows Morpheus, the personification of dreams and one of the seven Endless, captured in an occult ritual in 1916. The series has a lot of acclaims and the franchise is now going to be expanded further with a season 2.

Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan’s debut film ‘Qala’ to release on December 1 on Netflix

Netflix announced that its upcoming feature film 'Qala', starring Triptii Dimri and Babil Khan will premiere on its platform on December 1. The psychological drama movie comes from director Anvitaa Dutt and producer Karnesh Sharma. 

Lupita Nyong’O to star in ‘A Quiet Place spinoff titled ‘Day One’

Lupita Nyong’O will lead A Quiet Place spin-off called ‘Day One’. The aim of this film is to set up a potential A Quiet Place universe. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are not likely to reprise their roles in this installment. The film is set to hit the screens on March 8, 2024. 

Vision Tv Show in the works starring Paul Bettany who revive his famous character

Marvel Studios will continue the story of WandaVision with a Vision spinoff series for Disney+. WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer will helm the project, and Paul Bettany will return.

Euphoria star Jacob Elordi to lead WWII miniseries

Jacob Elordi will be helming 'The Narrow Road to the Deep North,' a limited series set during World War II that will film in his native country, Australia. Elordi will play Dorrigo Evans, an Australian army surgeon whose brief love affair with his uncle’s young wife, sustains and haunts him through his darkest days as he is held prisoner in a Thai-Burmese camp. 

Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film India Lockdown trailer released 

Madhur Bhandarkar’s next film India Lockdown will follow four parallel stories that look at the repercussions of the pandemic in the country. The film stars Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, Aahana Kumra and Shweta Basu Prasad.

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao to reunite for Stree 2

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will reportedly feature in the sequel of the 2018 hit film 'Stree'. Director Amar Kaushik has locked the script and is planning to take the film on floors in the first quarter of 2023. Varun Dhawan will also have a part in Stree 2 as his Bhediya character.

Boney Kapoor confirms his acting debut in Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film

Producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed that he'd be making his acting debut with Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's upcoming Luv Ranjan film. According to reports, he'd be playing Dimple Kapadia's husband in the film.

Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan’s Adipurush release gets delayed

The release of Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Adipurush has reportedly been postponed. The film has bowed out of its plans of being a Sankranti release and might be a mid-summer 2023 release. This comes after the film's VFX was trolled on Twitter.

Sanjay Dutt to star in a horror comedy film ‘The Vir-Gin Tree’

 Sanjay Dutt is all set to star in a horror comedy movie, titled The Vir-gin Tree. The movie will be produced by Three Dimension Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd and Deepak Mukut's Soham Rockstar Entertainment. In addition to Sanjay, the movie will also star Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, and Palak Tiwari among others in pivotal roles.

Akshay Kumar to play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next film

Akshay Kumar is set to play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar's directorial 'Veer Daudale Saat'. The film, which will be a pan-India Marathi film, is scheduled to release on Diwali 2023.
