Disney’s live action version of Peter Pan and Wendy released its first trailer. Disney releases the trailer for the live action version Peter Pan and Wendy
Yara Shahidi makes her debut as Tinker Bell in the first trailer of Peter Pan and Wendy, the upcoming live-action film from Disney. The trailer also features a first look at Jude Law as Captain Hook. Peter Pan & Wendy focuses on Wendy Darling, played by actress Ever Anderson. Based on the novel by J.M. Barrie, as well as Disney's animated Peter Pan, it's the story of how a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home meets Peter Pan (Alexander Molony), the flying Lost Boy who refuses to grow up. With her brothers, Wendy follows Peter and Tinker to Neverland.
Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty’s upcoming movie title and first poster released
Anushka Shetty took to Instagram to announce her next project with Naveen Polishetty. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see her on screen for almost two years now. The film will be directed by Mahesh Babu and the film is set to release this summer.
Kartik Aaryan announces Bhool Bhulaiya 3
Kartik Aaryan announced the next instalment of his Bhool Bhulaiya series where he will be reviving his role as Rooh Baba. This one will release on Diwali 2024. The video follows Kartik dressed up as Rooh Baba as he sings Ami Je Tomar. He repeats his dialogue from the previous plot and says, “Mai aatmao se sirf baat hi nahi karta, aatmein meri andar aa bhi jaati hai (I don't only talk to dead but they can also possess me).” Sharing the spooky video, Kartik wrote, “Rooh Baba Returns Diwali 2024.”
Amitabh Bachchan to headline courtroom drama Section 84
Amitabh Bachchan will headline Ribhu Dasgupta’s courtroom drama thriller ‘Section 84’. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Film Hanger and Saraswati Entertainment in association with Jio Studios. This film will mark Bachchan and Dasgupta’s third collaboration after the critical success of Sony Entertainment Television India’s 2014 miniseries “Yudh” and 2016 film “Te3n.”
Kapil Sharma starrer Zwigato trailer released
Kapil Sharma stars in a drama for the first time as he plays a food delivery agent in Nandita Das' Zwigato. The film also stars Shahana Goswami with Sayani Gupta and Gul Panag in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Nandita Das and will be released on the big screens on March 17.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas to star in the series adaptation of the book Assume Nothing
Priyanka Chopra is in talks with Amazon Studios about starring in a limited series Assume Nothing, based on Tanya Selvaratnam’s memoir of the same name. The book Assume Nothing: A Story of Intimate Violence is about the alleged abuse the author faced while dating New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, an advocate for women’s rights and prosecutor of Harvey Weinstein. Priyanka will also be an executive producer on the film under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures.
Disney+ Hotstar released the first teaser of their upcoming comedy show Pop Kaun
Featuring comedy veterans Johnny Lever and Saurabh Shukla, in the promo, both Saurabh and Johnny are seated side by side wearing pathani suits, clearly spoofing the post-credit scene from Pathaan, with Saurabh channeling Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan being played by Johnny. The show is directed by Housefull 4 director Farhad Samji.
Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava to perform their nominated song Naatu Naatu from RRR live at the Oscars
RRR song Naatu Naatu will be performed at the 95th Academy Awards which are to be held on March 12 (March 13 in India). The Academy has confirmed that the Oscar-nominated song will be performed on stage by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava in their Oscar debut.
Marvelous Mrs Maisel final season to drop on April 14
Rachel Brosnahan looks marvelous in the final teaser of Marvelous Mrs Maisel where it looks like she has finally achieved her dream of becoming a famous comedian. The final will be available from streaming from April 14 onwards on Prime Video.
Succession to end with season 4 at HBO
Show creator Jesse Armstrong has announced that the upcoming fourth season of Succession will be the show's last. Fans had speculated that the series was winding down but were surprised to learn it would end so soon. The final season will drop on March 26.
