Deepika Padukone to be a part of the Cannes Film Festival 2022 Jury.

 Deepika Padukone will be a part of the main jury at the Cannes Film Festival this year. The jury for the festival's 75th edition will be presided over by French actor, Vincent Lindon. Lindon, along with the jury members, will reward one of the 21 films in competition with the Palme d'Or, on May 28, during the closing ceremony.

Dhanush shares his first look from Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man.

Dhanush's first look from his upcoming Hollywood film 'The Gray Man' is out. The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who have also directed 'Avengers: Endgame'. 'The Gray Man' will feature 'Captain America' actor, Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles. Ana de Armas will also star in the film and it will be released on Netflix on July 22.

James Corden steps down as host of the Late Late Show after eight years.

Talk show host, James Corden in his latest episode of The Late Late Show, announced that he has extended his contract with the channel for another year but it will be his last season as a host. With teary eyes he described his journey with the show through eight years and how he is ready to make this last one, the best season to come yet with more fun bits from the show such as Carpool Karaoke and Crosswalks.

Warner Bros confirms The Batman 2 .

Warner Bros has officially announced a sequel to Robert Pattinson starrer 'The Batman' during a presentation at the CinemaCon 2022 on Tuesday. "Matt Reeves, Robert, and the entire team will be taking audiences back to Gotham with 'The Batman 2'," Warner Bros Pictures Group chief Toby Emmerich said. The 2022 film also featured Zoe Kravitz and Colin Farrell.

Margot Robbie’s first look from Barbie was released.

Greta Gerwig directorial 'Barbie' starring Margot Robbie revealed her first look on social media and she looks rather cute. Margot is seen seated in a pink convertible car while wearing a polka dot hairband with her blonde hair and a blue and white halter top. The film also stars Ryan Gosling opposite her as Ken and the film is set to release on July 21, 2023.

Scam 2003 begins filming, and director Hansal Mehta shares pictures from the set.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to Instagram to share pictures of the first day on set for 'Scam 2003'. Hansal shared an image of the clapboard and wrote, "And we rolled today." 'Scam 2003' will be directed by Tushar Hiranandani. Hansal had directed 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story'. The series will be tentatively named 'Scam 2003: The Curious Case of Abdul Karim Telgi'.

Disney rejects Saudi Arabia’s demand to cut the LGBTQ scene in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Disney has refused Saudi Arabia's demand to cut same-sex relationship references from 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'. A Saudi official stated that the film will never be banned in the country but they are still negotiating with Disney. Earlier, Warner Bros had been criticized for cutting same-sex romance references in 'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore' for China.

Twinkle Khanna’s short story Salaam Noni Appa is to be made into a film.

A movie based on Twinkle Khanna's short story 'Salaam Noni Appa' from her 2016 anthology 'The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad' is in the works. The untitled film will be jointly produced by Applause Entertainment, Ellipsis Entertainment, and Twinkle's Mrs. Funnybones Movies. Twinkle said that the short story 'Salaam Noni Appa' is loosely based on her grandmother and her sister.

Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi join Siddharth Malhotra and Rohit Shetty’s new cop series Indian Police Force.

After Siddharth Malhotra joined Rohit Shetty’s cop series, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi too are going to add 5 stars to the upcoming cop drama Indian Police Force. The two look super interesting in their new avatar as cops and are excited to take on this new venture.

Vijay Verma recreated Kareena Kapoor’s iconic Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham dialogue.

Vijay Varma took to his Instagram to share a video recreating Kareena Kapoor's viral dialogue from the 2001 film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. He wrote, "The only Gag I ever wanted to play with Kareena, the only and ultimate Poo.". They shot the video on the sets of 'The Devotion of Suspect X'.

Vidya Balan reunites with Shakuntala Devi director for her new venture, Neeyat.

Vidya Balan announced her upcoming film 'Neeyat' which will be a murder mystery directed by Anu Menon, who she worked with before in 'Shakuntala Devi'. The film will also feature Ram Kapoor, Shahana Goswami, Shashank Arora, Mita Vasisht, Prajakta Koli, Neeraj Kabi, and Amrita Puri. 

Taapsee Pannu shares the release date of Shaabash Mithu.

Taapsee Pannu took to Instagram to announce the release date of her upcoming film 'Shabaash Mithu'. The film is directed by Srijit Mukherji and will release on July 15. "There is nothing more powerful than a girl with a dream and a plan to realise it!" wrote Taapsee. She will portray the role of Indian cricketer Mithali Raj in the film.

Karan Johar to start shooting for the new season of Koffee with Karan in May.

Rumor has it that filmmaker Karan Johar and his team are preparing to start shooting for the new season of 'Koffee with Karan'. The planning and pre-production have already begun and the team is now ready to start shooting in mid-May. The show is expected to go on air in the month of June on Star Network.

Anushka Sharma shares a video from her prep as Jhulan Goswami in Chakda ‘Xpress.

Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to share a video showing how she's preparing for her upcoming film 'Chakda 'Xpress',  based on the life of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. "That's how the last few days have been," she captioned the video where she's seen practicing on a field.

Will Smith is on a spiritual trip to India post his controversy at the 2022 Oscars when he slapped comedian, Chris Rock. The actor was spotted at a private airport in Mumbai in his first public appearance since the incident. The Academy has banned Will for ten years. Speculations are he might meet Sadhguru to discuss the incident.

Shehnaaz Gill to make her Bollywood debut in Salmaan Khan's Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Shehnaaz Gill will reportedly make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'. The actress has joined the cast of the film and will be seen opposite actor Aayush Sharma. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde as the lead and is set to release in December this year.

After the 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' team went on air with an incorrect fact about Lata Mangeshkar's 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo', the cast and crew of the show took to social media to issue an apology to its fans. "We inadvertently mentioned 1965 as the year of release of the song. However, we would like to correct ourselves. The song was released on 26th Jan 1963," it said.

Andrew Garfield to take a break from acting.

Andrew Garfield during a recent interview with Variety said he'll be taking a break from acting. "I'm going to rest for a little bit...I need to recalibrate...reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for a while," he said.
