E Round-up is back with teasers and trailers of highly anticipated shows so without any further ado have a look at everything that was announced this week!

E Round-up is here to give you all the updates from the entertainment industry. Starting the XO. Kitty season 1 which is a spin off series of  All The Boys I’ve Loved franchise. Carrie Bradshaw and her gang of gal pals will be back in our lives again with And Just Like That season 2. The Munnabhai duo Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be seen together again on-screen in Awaara Pagal Deewana 2. Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke will be seen in Queer love story titled Strange Way of Life where they face their complicated past.

Hunger Games prequel film, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes trailer released

Lionsgate released the trailer of the prequel of Hunger Games. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is set 64 years before the events of the main series. The cast includes Rachel Zegler, Tom Blyth, Peter Dinklage, Jason Schwartzmen, Viola Davis and many more. The film is set to release in theatres on November 17.

Netflix releases the trailer for All The Boys I’ve Ever Loved spin off series, XO. Kitty Season 1

Following her sister Lara Jean’s footsteps, Kitty is all set to show us her own love story. And for that she moves all the way across to Seoul only to find out some bitter truths and make new friendships. The first season which has 10 episodes will be streaming on Netflix from May 18. 

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi join the cast of Akshay Kumar’ Awaara Pagal Deewana 2

The sequel for Akshay Kumar’s hit film, Awaara Pagal Deewana is being made into a sequel. The cast so far includes of course Akshay Kumar himself, and then his Hera Pheri buddies Paresh Rawal and Suneil Shetty will also reunite with him on-screen. The Munnabhai duo Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will also be seen together with the rest of them.

ZEE5 releases the first look of Manoj Bajpayee from his upcoming film Bandaa 

On Manoj Bajpayee’s birthday ZEE5 unveiled the first poster of his new film Bandaa which is a powerpact courtroom drama. The film is directed by Apoorva Singh Karki and Deepak Kingrani.

Hugh Grant to play an Oompa-Loompa in upcoming Wonka movie starring Timothee Chalamet

Hugh Grant will be seen as an Oompa-Loompa in the upcoming Wonka movie starring Timothée Chalamet as the titular chocolatier. The news was revealed to a select audience at CinemaCon which was held in Las Vegas as a part of extended footage that screened for exhibitors.

Bhumi Pednekar and Nawazuddin Siddique starrer Afwaah trailer released 

Bhumi Pednekar and Nawazuddin Siddique will be seen on-screen together for the first time in Afwaah. The film is a quirky thriller which portrays how a rumour can change someone’s life upside down. The film is directed by Sudhir Mishra and will release on May 5. The movie also features Sumeet Vyas, TJ Bhau and Sharib Hashmi.

Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke starrer Queer western drama, Strange Way of Life trailer released 

Pedro Almodovar’s short film Strange Way of Life starring Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke is about two cowboys who are in love with each other but behave completely opposite to what they are feeling. The film follows Pedro Pascal’s character who travels on horseback across the desert to meet Ethan Hawke’s character after 25 years and the two men face their complicated history. 

Netflix drops the teaser for The Witcher season 3 which will be Henry Cavil’s last season as Geralt

The upcoming season of The Witcher has been divided into two parts. The first five episodes will be released on June 29 and the last three will be released on July 27. This will be Henry Cavil’s last dance as Geralt of Rivia and Netflix has dropped the first look of the season in a power pact teaser. 

Sex and the City sequel, And Just Like That season 2 trailer released

The second season of the Sex and the City prequel, And Just Like That returns in June. We see Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) start new chapters in their lives. But most importantly, we see the return of Carrie’s long lost love, Aidan (John Corbett).

Netflix drops the teaser for Black Mirror season 6 

A teaser for Black Mirror’s new season is out and it shows the same dark and dystopian feels the show is famous for. The production of the show has evidently gone higher this time around and it also seems to be more violent than its previous seasons. The show will be available for streaming from June.
