Dulquer Salmaan to be seen next in R Balki's thriller

R Balki, who is all set to explore the genre of thriller in films, is teaming up with Dulquer Salmaan for this.

R Balki is all set to explore the thriller space next after directing lighthearted and slice of life films. His Filmography consists of films like Cheeni Kum, Paa, Shamitabh, Ki & Ka, and Pad Man. According to Pinkvilla, the filmmaker is teaming up with Malayalam actor, Dulquer Salmaan for an edge of the seat thriller. The film is supposed to go on the floors in the first quarter of this year. This would mark as the first collaboration of Balki with Dulquer.

The R Balki directorial would mark as Dulquer's third film in Bollywood. He made his Hindi debut with the 2018 Irrfan Khan starrer, Karwaan, which also starred Mithila Palkar. And then next year did The Zoya Factor, fronted by Sonam Kapoor. Just like all thrillers, this one too will have multiple mysterious characters with Dulquer being the central one. R Balki is the key producer of the film, however, a studio is expected to come on board as well. About the female lead and other actors for the film, it seems like they would be locked in soon. And the official announcement of the film is expected to come as well.
