US President Donald Trump is acquitted after facing the impeachment at the Senate trial on Wednesday.
In one of the most critical threats of his presidential career, US President Donald Trump is acquitted of all the impeachment charges for the abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in Senate on Wednesday. Donald Trump became the third president to be placed on Senate trial after the House Of Representatives voted against him. He is however cleared of all the chargers ending the efforts to take him out of the office. The Senate saw a vote of 52-48 on charges of abuse of power and 53-47 on obstruction of Congress. The President was acquitted despite strong evidence as it failed to get a supermajority required to convict him.
