The President and the First lady Melania Trump will begin their visit in Ahemdabad and then head to Agra on their first day. An open press event at Rashtrapati Bhawan, visit Rajghat, lunch meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House, an early evening state banquet hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind are all included in the President's itinerary for Tuesday. They will then fly to Delhi on the second day for an official reception. The Delhi government school's 'Happiness Curriculum' has attracted the First Lady's attention, who will visit the schools to have a look at the widely appreciated curriculum.
Although Trump has not arrived yet, the visit has been able to make news since a lot is going on prior to his visit. There have been talks of India and the US signing a major trade deal. Apart from these, reports say that a wall will be built to keep the slums out of Trump's sight. Capturing stray animals and releasing 14,000 litres of freshwater into the Yamuna river are the other ways in which the Indian Government is trying to make Trump's two-day visit as shiny and perfect as possible.
