A success? Debatable. A failure? I guess you could call it that. A joke? Yeah this one is for certain. Oh it’s Demonetization we are talking about and as the Demonetization anniversary arrives, Twitter is once again divided into three factions.

First, supporters of Modiji and every gospel truth he speaks vow by the positive effects of Demonetization even though they may have trouble pointing even one out, whereas detractors are still seeking therapy for the PTSD they suffered in the ATM queues. The Demonetization anniversary is today, one of the most historic days in the country. Positive or negative? For the sake of my own safety, I shan't answer that one.

Although if you are relatively neutral on the subject and have recovered from the agony, suffering, crying, udhaar seeking, digital transaction making, and finally shedding tears of happiness when you receive new notes, these memes on the Demonetization anniversary will surely make you laugh.
