Kaleshi Castle

When 66 content creators take on outrageous challenges in Kaleshi’s Castle, you know it’s going to be a must-watch! Here’s everything we know so far about this upcoming three-episode YouTube series.

Many of us grew up watching Takeshi’s Castle, enjoying the funny commentary and the sight of contestants struggling with outrageous obstacles. While the show was originally Japanese, we loved the desi dubbing that made it entertaining for us. We often thought it would be awesome to see familiar faces competing in such a wild format. That idea faded as we got older, but now it’s making a comeback! Three Commas Studios, Ground Zero, and Indesk Media have teamed up to create Kaleshi’s Castle, a fun version of the original show featuring 66 well-known content creators competing against each other. Sponsored by the online trading app Binomo, this YouTube series is set to bring a fresh and funny twist to the classic format we all loved.

According to producer and co-director Vipul Arora, the concept of Kaleshi’s Castle is a modern twist on the beloved classic. He said, “We wanted to bring back the energy and humor of Takeshi’s Castle but with our own cultural flavor. Working with influencers and content creators who are already so familiar to audiences makes it even more engaging.”

Kaleshi's Castle is a three-episode YouTube series featuring 66 influencers and YouTubers participating in a series of competitive games. Hosted by Mahesh Keshwala, aka Thugesh, along with RJ Simran, the show also includes commentary by Harsh Beniwal.

The first episode will include 30 contestants, while the second episode will feature 36. Contestants from both episodes will compete in different games, with the top finalists advancing to the grand finale in the third episode. The series is set to premiere on October 30th, 2024, with subsequent episodes released weekly. “The idea was to bring together a community of creators who normally compete online and give them the chance to go head-to-head in real life,” Vipul shared. He further adds, “By increasing the stakes each episode, we’re aiming to give viewers a memorable viewing experience that combines nostalgia, excitement, and some laugh-out-loud moments.”
