China's Wuhan is facing an outbreak of Coronavirus with around 81 deaths overall and a total of about 2700 cases are reported in mainland China.
China is witnessing an outbreak of a virus that is causing people to die, with the death toll going to 81. The Coronavirus outbreak was seen in its capital city of Wuhan, which is under lockdown and facing a travel ban along with a few other cities. In an attempt to contain the current spread, the national lunar new year holiday was also extended to Sunday. According to a report on CNN, the outbreak that began in China has spread to many parts of the world including five places in the US.
Various measures have to been taken in order to prevent the further spread of the virus. There is a ban on businesses until February 10th except for utilities, supermarkets, medical suppliers and medical firms. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the director-general at the World Health Organisation is in Beijing to discuss the outbreak with the Chinese government. There is no cure or vaccine for Coronavirus yet and the authorities are working towards finding one at the earliest.
The travel is restricted in the city of Wuhan which is home to 11 million people and the once travelling are thoroughly checked before allowing them in the province.

More than half a million medical professionals have joined Wuhan since the outbreak occurred. Medical staff from around the country is called into Wuhan in order to control the virus from spreading any further. The Mayor of the city, Zhou Xianwang also confirmed that the number of patients is expected to rise and that about five million new year travellers have left before the lockdown.
