The Weeknd collaborated with Puma to come up with "Parallel", high-top sneakers. Apart from Parallel, the collaboration resulted in a whole PUMA X XO collection released in 3 drops, each differentiated by an aesthetic. High-top sneakers were playing dead for a while but gained popularity again after Parallel's release.
Pharrell Williams X Adidas
Pharrell Williams has collaborated with Adidas for several editions of sneakers like PW Tennis HU, NMDs and more, the most eminent being the SOLARHU Collection. The selection is inspired by the African continent and the origin of their civilization.
