#BoycottAirAsiaIndia trends on Twitter after pilot-creator Gaurav Taneja shares a video of reason behind suspension from his pilot job

Indian YouTuber Gaurav Taneja aka Flying Beast, a pilot turned creator, shared a video about why he got suspended from his company and it has taken the internet by storm. People are trending #BoycottAirAsiaIndia in support of the vlogger.

One of India's famous Youtuber's Gaurav Taneja has the netizens talking after he uploaded his latest video last night. For the uninitiated, he uploads regular vlogs on the platform and has a huge fan base and is known as the Flying Beast. The YouTuber happens to have a great following in India with over 2 million subscribers on YouTube. Apart from being a YouTuber, Gaurav is a Pilot by profession. The internet has been talking after he got a few notices from his employer Air Asia where he worked as a Pilot. The Youtuber took to his channel to share the reason behind him being suspended by the airline company. Since then Tweeple have sent out Tweets condemning the decision. It soon led to #BoycottAirAsiaIndia trending on Twitter.

The YouTuber has been active on Twitter putting up a series of tweets pointing out all issues in the company. On June 14th he was officially suspended, and the vlogger took to Twitter to share the news with his fans. All his tweets started gaining engagement and fans began trending #BoycottAirAsiaIndia in support of the YouTuber.

In the video that he posted on his YouTube channel, Gaurav speaks about the company's HR department raising his objections on some of their sick leave policy. He shared how he was asked to report to work when he had taken a sick leave. He questioned how calling a sick pilot on work can endanger the lives of the passengers. Gaurav also talked about his constant concerns regarding the airline's safety policies which he had addressed a number of times in the past. Further talking about the matter he shared how the company failed to take precautionary measures in the pre-lockdown era when pilots and other onboard staffs were at high risk of contracting the virus.
