Starting a new chapter of her life in 2021, Bollywood designer, Saisha Shinde came out as a transwoman on her Instagram on Tuesday.

Popular and well known Bollywood designer, Saisha Shinde came out as a transwoman on her Instagram. The designer is known to have dressed A-list Bollywood actors including the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Kiara Advani, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Anushka Sharma, Madhuri Dixit, Sunny Leone, Tara Sutaria, Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Hina Khan. She took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to talk about her sexuality announcing that she is a proud transwoman.

Sharing her excitement of having to change her profile picture to one she always identified with, Saisha spoke about how she finally came to terms with her sexuality after spending years thinking her attraction towards men was because she was a gay man. She also talked about being bullied in school for being different and finding herself lonely and confused. Saisha wrote, "All through school and college, while the boys outside tormented me because I was different, the internal pain was far worse. I felt suffocated living a reality that I knew wasn’t mine, yet one that I had to stage every day because of societal expectations and norms.”
