Bob Biswas takes the story forward and gives an insight into the film's Kahaani most dangerous contract killer played by Saswata Chatterjee.
Bob Biswas was a contract killer that we have all seen and probably in our own way liked watching him kill too. In Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani he was the one who almost pushes Vidya in front of a train. Yes, that psycho contract killer has got his own story coming on Zee5 on 3rd December starring Abhishek Bachchan as the lead. The trailer of the film was released recently and it is helmed by Sujoy Ghosh's daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh.
Through the trailer, we get to know that the film will explore the backstory of Bob so as to gain an insight into why he is the way he is. The trailer starts with Bob being free of a Mental asylum as his family (wife and a child) comes back into the frame. We are told that he has lost his memory and has no clue that he was a hired assassin but as soon as he is out in the world his old contact comes back in his life. They remind him of the work he used to do and try to hire him back to kill again. As he starts working again that's when he starts questioning the morality of his actions. The trailer also suggests that Bob could be lying about his condition to fool everyone. And this whole thing makes the trailer confusing yet intriguing
The character was introduced to us by Saswata Chatterjee in the movie Kahaani, who appeared like a forgettable everyman who poses as an insurance agent but is a contract killer. This even though small yet powerful appearance got etched into the brain of the audience's and they wanted Bob to get a spin of his own. Hence after nine years here is the story of Bob Biswas. The film also Chitrangada Singh, Paran Bandopadhyay, Ronith Arora, and Samara Tijori.
