While you’re still reeling from the impact The Buckingham Murders left behind, here are some movies and TV shows on similar lines that you might like!
It’s always a pleasure to watch Kareena Kapoor Khan on the big screen and this time around, she’s back with a thriller. The Buckingham Murders garnered her a lot of praise at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival last year and with the film finally releasing in theatres now, we can see why. But female detectives as a genre has been around since a while now, and it’s empowering to see these strong characters bring the bad guys down and be an ultimate inspiration for young women.
Last year, Sonakshi Sinha’s Dahaad was discussed at length on social media and Shefali Shah’s Delhi Crime even got an Emmy recognition. Even Enola Holmes gave enough and more competition to her super popular detective brother Sherlock Holmes. While we’ve enjoyed the guys being the beacon of good over evil, it’s the era of women taking charge of their own story!
