The Bhoot trailer starring Vicky Kaushal is out now. Check out the audience's reaction here...
Indian movies are good at many things. We've aced several genres and have some great movies to show for it, sadly, horror isn't one of them. Yes, we've dabbled with it for a long time but only a few of the movies have managed to leave lasting impressions (and scars). The latest film to join the list of Indian horror films is none other than, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship starring Vicky Kaushal. Dharma Productions released the Bhoot trailer earlier today and while it's always good to watch Vicky Kaushal on our screens, this one is receiving a mixed reaction lukewarm response from audiences.
Take a look at the Bhoot trailer here:
The trailer gives you goosebumps maybe once or twice but that's about it. The lighting, VFX and sound do their work but there isn't much novelty to the trailer. Especially for those who are ardent fans of the genre and have watched horror movies made by International directors.
Here's how Twitter reacted to the Bhoot trailer:

Trailer looks average with scenes copied from many Hollywood movies. Hope the complete movie will deliver something different and good. #VickyKaushal pic.twitter.com/5LgYswinHN

The bhoot trailer. Really? It was as generic as horror could get, nothing new.I haven't even seen alot of horror, still felt so.
Dharma really keep horror away. & declaring franchises before release isn't a good idea either.
Vicky Kaushal deserves better films.?#BhootTrailer
