Bhool Bhulaiya 2 trailer reminds us how Manjulika can still send chills down our spine, even 15 years later!

Starring Karthik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu, Bhool Bulaiya 2 is the sequel of the hit psychological thriller and brings back a lot of nostalgia!

In 2007, Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan set the benchmark for the horror-comedy genre in Bollywood with Bhool Bhulaiya. The perfect comic timing, the scary background music, and Vidya Balan's transition from Avni to Manjulika, all played major factors in the film becoming super iconic. Today, 15 years later, we get a glimpse of the sequel to the film, Bhool Bhulaiya 2 as we see Karthik Aaryan step into the shoes of one of Akshay Kumar's most memorable roles to date and Kiara Advani as our new Manjulika, who looks ready to scare us to our core. We also see Tabu who looks rather mysterious and intense in the trailer and Rajpal Yadav returns as the very humorous, Chote Pandit.

The trailer begins with Tabu warning us about Manjulika returning to the unforgettably haunted haveli's doorstep 15 years later. Cut to when we see Karthik Aaryan as Rooh Baba claiming that he can see and talk to dead people as he has grown up around them. We get a glance of Kiara Advani and Karthik Aaryan's romance in the film, along with Karthik Aaryan also shaking his leg to the very catchy 'Hare Krishna Hare Ram' track. Coming to the horror, it looks like a modernized version of a spookfest. We see Kiara Advani twisting and turning her body as Manjulika and Rooh Baba does not seem to want to tackle that situation at all. A wedding with paranormal activities, black magic, the sound of the ghungroo, and the ever so scary 'aamhi je tomhar' song, the trailer banks heavily on bringing back nostalgic memories of the previous film to the audience.

The film is directed by Aneez Bazmee and produced by T-Series and Cine 1 Studios. Bhool Bhulaiya 2 is set to release in the cinemas on May 20 and the trailer sets major expectations for the audience to be as good as its predecessor.
