Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon was released in cinemas on November 28 and received quite a few mixed reviews from the Janta!
Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Maddock Films, Bhediya is a part of the Stree universe. The story revolves around a road construction contractor, Bhaskar (Varun Dhawan), who goes to Arunachal Pradesh to build a highway through the dense jungle of Ziro. Besides opposition from the tribals, he has a bigger challenge to solve along with his companions, cousin JD (Abhishek Banerjee), friend Jomin (Paalin Kabak), and Panda (Deepak Dobriyal). A series of unexpected deaths take place soon after Bhaskar is bitten by a wild animal. How Bhaskar and the whole town tackle this werewolf folklore coming true is what the film is about. It also stars Kriti Sanon who plays a vet, Dr. Anika who is also Bhaskar’s love interest in the film.
The Janta's opinions are divided into two parts, some truly enjoyed the film as they felt it was a good weekend family entertainer and loved the VFX of the film. But some also believed that the story could've been much better but it was a decent one-time watch.
