The story revolves around a murder mystery where Taapsee Pannu's character is accused of murdering her paramour. Lawyer Badal Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan), who is known for not having lost a single case in his 40-year-long career, takes the case up.
There are various versions of the truth here, but it’s this layering of the story that makes it for an engaging thriller.
