Emmy Nominations 2024: Shogun leads with 25 noms; followed by The Bear continuing its streak thrice in a row!

Emmy Nominations 2024

The Emmy Nominations are out and here’s an entire list of shows that will be competing with each other this year!

Tony Hale, Sheryl Lee Ralph and the Television Academy chair Chris Abrego announced the Emmy Nominations for 2024 from El Capitan Theatre which was live-streamed. The 76th Emmys will take place in Los Angeles this year on September 15, Sunday and the host for the prestigious ceremony is still not revealed yet. But coming to the nominees, Shogun leads the pack with 25 nominations including Best Drama Series. Followed by The Bear with 23 nominations which is a record for a comedy series. Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building comes next in line with 21 nominations, True Detective: Night Country bags 19 nominations and Netflix’s popular drama series, The Crown earns 18 nominations. Baby Reindeer and Ripley also get nominations in the Best Limited Series or Anthology category. On one hand we have Jennifer Anniston and Reese Witherspoon nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for The Morning Show and on the other we’ll see Ayo Edibri and Selena Gomez competing for the same in the Comedy section. Jeremy Allen White has also been nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, which he won last year and Idris Elba, Donald Glover among others will be anticipating the award for Best Actor in a Drama Series.
